Busy Father's Day Weekend

First, I would like to wish a Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's and Grandfather's reading my blog (and to those who don't too).

Friday Events:
+The Ann Arbor Summer Festival kicks off on Friday with Top of the Park. Bring the kids down, grab some dinner, and enjoy the music and company.
+Kids can create a Garden Stone for Dad at Tree Town Toys from 10:30a-6p
+Canton Liberty Fest started on Thursday and continues through Saturday. They are open from 1-10p on Friday.

Saturday Events:
+Start the morning with a pancake breakfast at Canton Liberty Fest. Breakfast starts early, but there will be characters strolling through from 9:30-11a
+Motor Muster kicks off at Greenfield Village at 9:30a and runs until 9p. There will also be an historic baseball game at 1:30p
+If you didn't make it on Friday, Tree Town Toys will again have Garden Stones to create for Dad from 10a-5p.
+Canton Liberty Fest opens at 10:30a and concludes with Fireworks at 10p.
+Briarwood Mall is hosting Dad's Tailgate Party in the Macy's corridor from 1-3p
+Celebrate Summer Solstice on the Huron River with the Summer Solstice River Paddle on the Huron River from 8-11p.

There are plenty of Sunday Activities to do with Dad:
+Take Dad to Greenfield Village to check out the cars and baseball game at Motor Muster
+Celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of West Park from noon-4p.

Next week there are a few events going on.
+The Henry Ford Museum will have the Emancipation Proclamation on Display Monday evening through early Wednesday morning.
Rave Motion Pictures kicks off their Free Family Movie Festival with Megamind (Tuesday and Wednesday at 10a).
+Quality 16 continues their $1 kids movies at 10a every weekday
+The Event on Main is Thursday, June 23 and includes a Free Family Festival
