The Ann Arbor Hands On Museum (AAHOM) has just announced their new summer program $5 after Five. On Thursday nights the museum will be open until 8 pm. Admission will be $5 during the evening hours.My husband works at the University of Michigan and we will often meet downtown for dinner especially over the summer. However, he often works until 7p and I have often wished that my daughter and I could wait for him at the Hands on Museum as members. Now we can!
The extra hours will begin on Thursday, June 23 and run until August 25.
The announcement does not state whether members are still free (I assume they are) and whether you can arrive before 5 and pay regular price admission and stay for the evening (again I assume you can). I sent an email to my contact at the Hands On Museum to clarify these two points and will update you.
