I just got home and am definitely not impressed with what I saw out there.
I was heading south on Carpenter Rd from Target and watched a car in front of me tailgating and changing lanes several times because the cars were evidently going too slowly and finally darting around when one of the cars did pull out in front of the other. All of this darting around did not yield any time savings because I pulled up behind the vehicle at the next red light.
The kicker, the car doing all this crazy driving was a Washtenaw County Sheriff car. It's lights and sirens were not on. And the too slow speed? Was between 42-45 MPH in a posted 45 MPH
And yes, I do have the license plate number if anyone from the County or Pittsfield police wants to follow-up. If I had been the passenger, I would have called police or video taped it on my phone or had my passenger do it for me.
