This weekend Greenfield Village kicks off their Summer Baseball series. Come to Greenfield Village and enjoy an historic baseball game played by the 1867 rules. Games start at 1:30p every Saturday and Sunday until August 21 with the exception of August 13 and 14.
I first heard about these games two years ago and thought it sounded interesting, but it never made it onto our schedule. Last year we had a game on our schedule, but it was exceptionally hot that day and the group we were hoping to go with was not free. I am determined to go this year, especially since my daughter is playing t-ball this year.
My daughter loves Greenfield Village. We have a membership to the Henry Ford and definitely feel that we get a good value for our money. Children 4 and under are admitted free and you may be able to purchase a companion pass for considerably less than a family pass. We had to upgrade to a family pass this year as my daughter turned 5.
We are planning to go to the Macy's Second Monday activities at Greenfield Village on Monday. On the second Monday of each month Macy's sponsors activities for preschoolers from 10a-noon at either Henry Ford Museum or Greenfield Village.
