I am disappointed that I did not realize that the Milan Community Fair started this week. The parade was Wednesday evening, and my daughter loves parades.
The fair continues through Saturday running from noon-11p each day. On Friday night, they will have a fireworks display at 10:05pm. There are rides which can be purchased by individual tickets or a wristband. We often do a combination - a wristband for my daughter and additional tickets for the rides we need to ride with her. Saturday will be kids day and kids wristbands will be discounted from noon-4p.
We attended the Milan fair in 2009 attending both the parade and the fireworks display. We were very impressed with the fireworks. They are shot over the lake and we were able to watch from a blocked off street. While the street was not as soft as grass, there were less mosquitos than you typically encounter in the grass. I definitely appreciated not being eaten alive.
