There is a lot going on this week with summer activities ramping up.
Monday is Macy's Second Monday at the Henry Ford. The event is being held at Greenfield Village from 10a-noon. The event will include story telling, make it/take it crafts, and other children's activities. Children 4 and under are admitted free. On their website they have coupons for discounted membership or adult admission.
Quality 16 starts their $1 Children's Matinees this week with Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Xtreme Bounce Zone starts their summer open bounce schedule on Monday. They will be open from 10a-8p Monday through Thursday and 10a-7p on Friday. We attended a birthday party there this weekend and my daughter had a blast (after not liking bounce houses).
Liberty Festival in Canton starts on Thursday, June 16 at 5p. You can order your child's wristband for rides ahead of time so you don't need to wait in line for tickets. We usually buy a wristband for my daughter and tickets for us to go on some rides with her.
The Ann Arbor Parks Pools will begin their summer tot splash programs on Friday, June 17. Tot Splashes will be:
- Buhr Park: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10a-1p and Tuesday/Thursday Noon-1p
- Fuller Park: Tuesday/Thursday 11a-1p
- Veterans Park: Monday/Wednesday/Friday noon-1p
Top of the Park at Ann Arbor Summer Festival starts on Friday, June 17. Sunday nights will be family nights at Top of the Park. Stay tuned for more details on the blog later this week.
