West Park has undergone some extensive renovations in the last year. They will be hosting a Grand Re-Opening Celebration on Sunday, June 19 from noon-4p.
There will be a ribbon cutting, guided tours, and sculpture unveiling. Ann Arbor Rec and Ed will be sponsoring sports activities - hula hoops, kickball, and basketball. The Ann Arbor Police Department will also be visiting. There will be music by the Ann Arbor Civic Band, local food carts, tree plantings, and more.
Sounds like a great way to celebrate Father's Day.
West Park is bordered by Miller, Huron, Chapin, and Seventh Streets.
