Kerrytown Bookfest is Sunday

This year's Kerrytown Bookfest is on Sunday, September 11. The children's tent will be open from 11a-5p and is located behind stalls 6-18 at the Farmers Market (between the Kerrytown Shops and Fifth Ave).

The children's tent will feature craft activities from 11a-5p as well as some special activities.

  • Noon: Deborah Diesen, Author of The Pout-Pout Fish, will lead a singalong and read aloud from her book
  • 12:30p: a repeat performance by Deborah Diesen
  • 1p: Author Philip Stead and Caldecott Winning Illustrator Erin Stead will read from their award winning book A Sick Day for Amos McGee
  • 2p: Mother Goose herself will be stopping by with her goose to read some of her favorite stories.
  • 3p: Heather O'Neal will perform both a fiction and a non-fiction tale from Nepal.
Sounds like a lot of fun.
