Ann Arbor Parks is hosting a Princess and Pirate Party at the Ann Arbor Senior Center. The party is on September 11 from 5-7p.
For the princesses there will be a story with Cinderella, makeup session with a take home case, bracelet craft, nail painting, and more. For the pirates, there will be story with Captain Hook, tattoos, a pirate craft and a walk down the plank. There will also be a "Shiver Me Timbers" treasure hunt. Be sure to send the kids in costume (princess or pirate) since there will be a red carpet fashion show.
The party costs $35/child and includes pizza and a tea party with fancy tea cups and illuminated ice cubes. Apple juice "tea" and cookies will be served.
The party will be repeated on Saturday, November 12 from 1-3p. This party does not include pizza and only costs $30.
If you have a Glamour Girl, she may also enjoy the Glamour Girl Tea Parties on October 9 from 5-7p, and December 10 from 1-3p. The October party is $35 and includes pizza. The December 10 party is $30. Pre-registration is required and the event will only be held if they have at least 10 participants. You can register by calling 734.794.6250.
The Glamour Girl Tea Party will include sweet tart candy bingo, etiquette lessons, a makeup session, and glitter hair and nail painting. There will also be cookie decorating followed by a tea party. The Glamour Girl event will conclude with a red carpet show for the parents.
