Rave Motion Pictures is now offering a discounted price on matinees that start before 2p. They are just $6. Regular matinee pricing is $7.50 (children's tickets are $7.25). IMAX and 3D shows will have an added charge. The 3D adds $3 to the ticket price.
There are several children's movies playing in the theaters. The Lion King 3D opens this week. There is a 2D showing available before 2p, but the first 3D showing is after 2 and is priced at the standard matinee price. I am disappointed that they do not have more showtimes for The Lion King. My daughter and I saw a screening of The Lion King and loved it (see our review).
The Smurfs is still playing at Rave Motion Pictures. It is only showing in 2D and has showings before 2p. My mother took my daughter to see The Smurfs and she loved the movie. She thought it was silly (she loves silly movies).
Spy Kids: All the Time in the World is playing in 3D only. It has shows before 2p.
Also, don't forget the Free Fall Matinees on the weekends at Quality 16. This weekend they are showing Yogi Bear. The movies show at 9a and 10a.
