On Friday, March 9, Leslie Science & Nature Center will be having a Tiny Tots program: Let’s Compare.
Tiny Tots programs are for children ages 1-3 with a caregiver. The Tiny Tots programs run from 10-11:30a on select Fridays throughout the year. Each Tiny Tot event costs $7/child (adults are free).
This week’s topic is Let’s Compare. In the session they will talk about connections in science. Kids will work on making groups based on common elements like size, shape, color, or feel. They’ll use magnifying lenses to take a closer look. They’ll also take a hike through the woods to make comparisons. They’ll also visit the Critter House to compare animals by fur, feathers, and scales.
Later this month, on Friday, March 23, is Nature’s Alphabet.
