The Magic School Bus is in Lansing

Wow, not only is the Magic Treehouse landing in Ann Arbor today, but The Magic School Bus is in Lansing until April 7. These are my daughter's two favorite book series (plus American Girl) and trust me, I mix them up often enough.

The Magic School Bus is at the Impression 5 Science Center in Lansing through April 7. The exhibit is based on The Magic School Bus television episode Kicks Up A Storm and the book The Magic School Bus Inside A Hurricane. In the exhibit, kids will have the opportunity to explore weather science. Activities include raising a hot air balloon and examining a snowflake

One of my friends visited the museum and the Magic School Bus exhibit over the weekend and they enjoyed it. She definitely recommended it for my daughter and to share on here.

Admission to Impression 5 is only $5 for adults and children over the age of 1. Ann Arbor Hands on Museum members are admitted free of charge as part of the reciprocal museum benefits.

To get your child ready for the Magic School Bus exhibit, check out the Magic School Bus games and activities on Scholastic.com. The Magic School Bus television series used to air on the Qubo channel. We have Directv and it aired at certain times of day on IONW. From my research, there is a dedicated Qubo channel on AT&T U-verse. There is no Qubo programming on Comcast. However, Qubo stopped airing the Magic School Bus in mid February. Fortunately I have 7 episodes on DVR for my daughter...although I am getting sick of the same 7 episodes over and over. I hope they bring the series back soon.
