See Hugo in 3D for Just $5
Yes, you can see the recent movie Hugo in 3D for just $5. The only catch is that you will have to wait until Saturday, June 2, 2012.
The first Cinetopia International Film Festival presented by AT&T will be held in Ann Arbor Thursday, May 31 through Sunday, June 3. They will be featuring feature length, story-based films that have been screened at the top international film festivals. There will be a special program exploring 60 years of 3-D films. Films will be shown at Michigan Theater, the State Theater, and the University of Michigan’s Angell Hall. Most movies will be $15/person, however Hugo 3D will have a special $5 pricing to bring in families. The Downtown Branch of AADL will also host additional special programs.
Hugo will be showing at The Michigan Theater in 3D at 11a on Saturday, June 2, 2012. All tickets are $5. The movie is long (126 minutes) and is rated PG. I have not seen the movie, so I cannot recommend an appropriate age for the movie.
If Super Heroes are more your speed, Superman will be showing at 11:30a on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at The State Theater. This is the original 1978 film with Christopher Reeve, Marlon Brando, and Margot Kidder. Unfortunately these two films overlap so you cannot see both movies.
