Join the Natural History Museum for Fun Friday Night

September 2012’s Fun Friday Night

The University of Michigan Natural History Museum will be having their Fun Friday Night at the Museum on Friday, February 7 from 5-9p. Fun Friday Nights are held the first Friday night of each month from September through June

This month’s story is Dinosaur Roar! by Paul and Henrietta Stickland at 6 and 7p in the Planetarium. While Story Time is FREE, you will still need to get tickets in the gift shop as each session is limited to 36 participants (the planetarium capacity).

There will be $3 planetarium shows at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30p. Each show is 30 minutes long. Tickets can be purchased at the Museum Gift Shop.

There will be an Owls: Birds of Prey demonstration at 6p and dinosaur tours at 7 & 8p. Dinosaur tours are limited to 15 people, so be sure to sign up when you arrive to save your spot.

 September 2012’s Fun Friday Night

We attended the September Fun Friday Night last year and my daughter really liked it. It was at the end of the first week of school and the story was How Dinosaurs Go To School.

In October my daughter attended Kids Night In at the Museum and had a great time. She loves the museum.

The first time we attended Fun Friday Night we had dinner first, and then visited the museum arriving shortly before 7p for the second story time. The second time, we had an earlier dinner so that we would have more time at the museum.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
