We attended the LEGO KidsFest in October 2012 when it was in the area. Overall, we had a good time, although I wasn’t thrilled with the logistics at Suburban Collection Showplace. Getting into the parking lot was a definite issue. I recommend arriving before the event starts to maximize your time inside the event.

After we visited the last event, there were a few things we hadn’t done. At the time my daughter wasn’t old enough for the LEGO Master Builder Academy. She will want to do that this year. Also, she would like a chance to try the Challenge Zone which we ran out of time for last time since we had to leave early. We will definitely make them priorities on this year’s visit.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
