March at Ann Arbor Hands on Museum
The Ann Arbor Hands On Museum has a busy weekend schedule this month.
March 8-9 they will be holding Critters Up Close in partnership with Leslie Science & Nature Center. Critters Up Close will be from 1-4p. LSNC will be bringing select animals and there will be animal themed hands on activities.
Professor Ray’s Everyday Science: Air Apparent will be held on Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16 at 1 and 3p each days. They will be exploring air pressure.
March 22 and March 23 will be Professor Ray’s Everyday Science: Good Vibrations. Shows will be at 1 and 3p. They will demonstrate how to make cool sounds with household objects. March 22nd is also Children’s Vision Day. The Michigan Optometric Association will be at the museum from 10a-3p. They will be sponsoring various activities relating to vision health.
ScienceFest: Nano Days is Saturday, March 29 from 10a-4p and Sunday, March 30 from noon-4p. During Science Fest, kids will explore capillary action, non-Newtonian fluids , mono-products, and more.
Additionally, the museum will be collecting non-perishable food for Food Gatherers from March 10-21. They will also accept new personal hygiene products such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.
