Nature Tales at Leslie Science & Nature Center

Leslie Science and Nature Center holds monthly Nature Tales events on Saturdays. Nature Tales story times are for kids ages 1-5 with a  parent or other care giver. Each Nature Tales session costs $3/child, adults are free.

The March event will be held on Saturday, March 15 from 10-11a. The March Theme is Rabbit Tales. They will be reading Snow Rabbit, Spring Rabbit: A Book of Changing Seasons and kids will get to meet a bunny. Online registration is available.


The April Nature Tales is Butterfly Tales on Saturday, April 5 from 10-11a. After story time, they will take a hike to look for native plants that host butterflies. Online registration is available.

The May Nature Tales theme is Adventure Tales on Saturday, May 10 from 10-11a. They will be reading Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are and taking a hike looking for wild things.
