Ann Arbor Earth Day Festival 2014

The 43rd annual Ann Arbor Earth Day Festival will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from noon-4p at Leslie Science & Nature Center.

The event is FREE and Family Friendly. There is limited parking available, so carpooling, public transit, and biking are encouraged.

There will be food available from Pilar’s Tamales, Silvio’s Organic Pizza, and Ypsilanti Food Co-Op.

Children are encouraged to dress in costume for the All-Species Parade from 2:15-2:30p.

The event will include family friendly activities like live animal demonstrations, hands-on activities, and information on green building, green commuting, water awareness, energy conservation, and more.

Check out the website for full information.

Also, on the topic of Earth Day, don’t miss the EWaste and Prescription Drug Take Back events on Saturday, April 26.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
