Fool Moon & Festifools This Weekend

from FestiFools Website

This weekend Ann Arbor will hold it’s annual Fool Moon and Festifools celebration. Unfortunately, the event has fallen during spring break week the last few years and our travels have prevented us from attending.

FoolMoon is on Friday, April 4 from dusk to midnight on Washington St. Festifools is on Sunday, April 6 from 4-5p on Main Street.

During FoolMoon, there will be three processions of luminaries beginning at 8:15p. Starting locations are Farmers Market at Kerrytown, UMMA, and Slauson Middle School. Also, don’t miss AADL’s tent for some fun activities.

Whether you are just observing or joining a group, the FestiFools parade on Sunday promises to be fun. If you are interested in joining with a group, you can join the Downtown Branch of AADL from 3:30-3:40p to join up with their group dressed as robots.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
