Orange Aadrvark, Llama Llama, and Hungry Caterpillar Story Times at Barnes & Noble Ann Arbor

There are several special story times planned for the Ann Arbor Barnes & Noble location.

On Thursday, April 24 they will have “It’s an Orange Aardvark” Story Time at  11a. The story time will feature the book “It’s an Orange Aardvark!” by Michael Hall. The story time will be followed by fun activities.

On Saturday, April 26 they will celebrate National Poetry Month with a visit from Lllama Llama from the popular book series at their 11a story time. The event is geared towards kids ages 3-6.

Then, on Saturday, May 3 they will be celebrating the 45th anniversary of one of my daughter’s favorite books as a baby and a toddler – The Very Hungry Caterpillar. As young as 8 months, she would regularly find The Very Hungry Caterpillar on the shelf at the library for us to check out. In addition to the story, there will be a color-in crown activity. The event is for kids ages 4 and up. Space is limited, so advance signup is needed.

Barnes & Noble Ann Arbor is located in Huron Village at 3235 Washtenaw Ave. The store can be contacted at 734-973-0846 for advance registration.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
