Story Times at Ypsilanti District Library

The Ypsilanti District Library holds weekly story times at several of their locations. The Spring 2014 story times will run through May 5.

Baby Storytime is designed for kids from infants through 18 months. Baby Storytime is held at the Whittaker Rd location on Mondays at 10:30a.

Toddler Storytime is for kids ages 18 months to 3 years. Toddler Storytime is held on on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:30a.

Preschool Storytime is for children ages 2-5. It is held:

Bedtime Storytime is for children ages 3-8 and is held at 7p on the last Thursday of each month (April 24 and May 29 remain) at the Michigan Avenue branch. Children are encouraged to come in their PJs and bring a favorite blanket or stuffed animal. Milk and cookies are served at the end of the event.
I love that the Ypsilanti library has a separate toddler story time. When my daughter was a baby, we attended the Ann Arbor Baby Playgroups (babies through 24 months). However, she lost interest in the playgroup at 18 months, but was not ready for the preschool story time.
