Butterfly Festival at UM Museum of Natural History
The University of Michigan Museum of Natural History is having a Butterfly Festival on Saturday, May 17 from 10a-2p.
Kids love butterflies, so this event should be a lot of fun. My daughter is currently very excited about the caterpillars that they have in her classroom.
From the museum’s event description:
Explore the beautiful and fascinating world of butterflies and life cycles!
Watch live Monarchs and take a close look at how they travel through each stage of their life cycle.
Metamorphose into a butterfly with your own wings!
Get your hands dirty by planting new perennials in our butterfly garden (weather permitting).
Also don’t forget to checkout the Museum’s Summer Camp offerings.
