Community Health & Safety Day at Independence Lake

Independence Lake will be holding a Community Health and Safety Day on Saturday, June 7 from 10a-noon.

During the event, kids can explore emergency vehicles, play games, and meet with safety professionals. The activities are designed for kids ages 5-11.

After the event, attendees will receive free admission to the Blue Heron Bay spray play facility that opened last summer at Independence Lake. My daughter and her friends had a lot of fun when we visited Blue Heron Bay last summer.

Independence Lake is a Washtenaw County Park located in Whitmore Lake, just north of Ann Arbor.

Description: Independence Lake County Park is hosting a Community Health and Safety Day on Saturday, June 7th from 10:00a-12:00p. We would like to invite all families to join us for a fun day while meeting local health and safety representatives in the community. Activities are geared toward ages 5 through 11. Come explore emergency vehicles, play games, and speak with trained professionals! After participating in our event, we’ll treat you to a free day in our new spray play facility, Blue Heron Bay!
Fee: FREE admission and parking!
