Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast at Independence Lake

Have you thought about your Father’s Day plans yet? Independence Lake is having a Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast at 9a followed by a scavenger hunt at 10a. Participants can stay and play for free at Blue Heron Bay Spray Park after the event. The Father’s Day event is $6/person. Online registration begins at midnight on May 18.

We had a lot of fun visiting Blue Heron Bay at the end of last summer. My daughter wants to return again this summer.

Independence Lake is a Washtenaw County Park located in Whitmore Lake, just north of Ann Arbor.

Description: Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission presents “Pancakes at the Park; A Father’s Day Event”. We would like to invite all families to honor that special father figure in their life and to enjoy a special day at Independence Lake. After a provided pancake breakfast at 9:00a, families will explore our park with a scavenger hunt at 10:00a. The fun doesn’t end there, because each participant will be invited to spend the remainder of the day at Blue Heron Bay, our new spray park, for free! Pre-Registration required, spaces limited. Fee: $6 per person (price includes parking)
