2014 KinderConcerts: Free Concerts for Kids

The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra in conjunction with the Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and the Dexter District Libraries present KinderConcerts: fun, interactive and free, 30-minute concerts designed especially for children 2-5 years old. Members of your A2SO join a child movement expert and piano collaborationist for a guided introduction to the instruments of the orchestra. Introduce even the youngest listeners to classical music by dancing a tango and waving colorful scarves with your little ones at your local library. This fun, active learning environment allows children the opportunity to enjoy music while encouraging learning and creativity.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
