Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum in June
Earlier this week, the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum closed part of their gallery space to prepare for installation of their new exhibit H2Oh!. The new exhibit is scheduled to open in about a month.
This weekend, June 14-15 the Leslie Science & Nature Center is bringing animals to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum for Critters Up Close! The event is from 1-4p on Saturday and noon-3p on Sunday. Critters Up Close is held on the second weekend of each month.
There will be Preschool Storytime at 10:30a on Saturdays and Tuesdays that are followed by a hands-on science experiment.
On weekdays through June, they will hold Activity Remix where they will be developing new activities and sharing ideas about future events.
The University of Michigan Psychology Department will be on hand daily through the end of June and kids can participate in a quick psychology study and receive a thank-you gift.
June 21-22 will feature Professor Ray’s Everyday Science Workshops: Good Vibes with presentations at 1 and 3p.
In July the daily weekday activity will switch to Pop-Up Makerspace where a design challenge will be presented and kids can use their imagination, ingenuity, and innovation to find a unique solution.
