Summer Camp Guide: New to Ann Arbor for 2014 KidzArt and Club Scientific

Disclaimer: Club Scientific and KidzArt are a paid advertiser of the Ann Arbor with Kids Summer Camp Guide. All opinions are my own.

New to Ann Arbor this year are both KidzArt and ClubScientific both of which offer camps for kids ages 6-14. The KidzArt classes will be held at Oz’s Music (1922 Packard Ave) while the Club Scientific Camps will be held at Ann Arbor Learning Community (3980 Research Park Dr).

Each of their camps runs from 9a-4p with before and after care available for an added fee to extend the day from 8a-5:30p.. The camps are $275/week. However, you can save $20/camp with the coupon code A2WK exclusively from Ann Arbor with Kids.  If you register for both weeks of KidzArt, you will receive a $10/week discount for a $265/week price. Club Scientific camps offer a $10/week discount when registering for two weeks or $20/week discount when registering for all 3 weeks. There is also a 10% sibling discount.

This summer they will be holding 2 KidzArt camps. Zoofari Camp is being offered June 16-20. Caribbean Adventures will be held June 23-27. The camps are $275/week or $265 for 2 weeks.

Club Scientific is offering a number of camps this year over 3 weeks this summer. I love the variety of summer camps that they offer. I wish I could interest my daughter in the Jr Video Game Maker or Little Robot Inventor camp, but she has steadily refused any offers of learning programming or robotics. The schedule is below:

Full descriptions of the Club Scientific camps are available on the registration page for each camp.

Both KidzArt and Club Scientific are based in Jackson, MI with franchises across the country. KidzArt was started 25 years ago and has over 100 franchise locations in 13 countries. They also bought the Club Scientific company in 2013 and are in their first year offering camps. There are 15 Club Scientific franchisees across the country.

Don’t forget to register your child for KidzArt or Club Scientific Camp this summer!

If you already have your child’s camp schedule booked for this summer, don’t worry, they are planning to start registration for 2015 summer camps in September.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
