Summer Classic Film Series at Michigan Theater

The Kerrytown Market & Shops Summer Classic Film Series at The Michigan Theater started on Sunday and continues into September. While not all of the films are family-friendly (e.g. Pulp Fiction), there are several that are family friendly.

Films in the Summer Classic Film Series will be shown on Sundays at 1:30p and Tuesdays at 7p.

The first movie in the series is The Muppets Take Manhattan. The movie played last Sunday and will be shown tonight at 7p.
On July 20/22 introduce your kids to the original Steven Spielberg sci-fi classic Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
I am definitely marking our calendar for Sing-A-Long: The Wizard of Oz on July 27/29. My daughter just saw the play in Detroit and loved it. (The Wizard of Oz is also playing on July 6 as the Top of the Park movie, but the sing-a-long sounds fun.)

Tickets for the shows are available on Ticketweb.com. Sing-A-Long Wizard of Oz tickets are $15/adults, $12 for students/seniors/veterans/children, and $10 for Michigan Theater Members. Tickets for other shows are $10/adults, $8/students/seniors/veterans/children, and $7.50 for Michigan Theater Members. Casablanca is free for students with a valid ID.

The Michigan Theater is located at 603 E. Liberty St in Downtown Ann Arbor.
