Mythical Creatures of Ann Arbor at Sunday Artisan Market Today

Today the Sunday Artisan Market will be celebrating the Mythical Creatures of Ann Arbor from 11a-4p at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market. It looks like the morning rain has passed us by and the weather for the rest of the day should be great.

Special guests will include local sidewalk artist David Zinn and Ann Arbor’s resident fairyologist Jonathan Wright. There will be a special story and Q&A with Jonathan Wright at 1:30p. There will also be a chance to become a certified fairyologist (for a small fee). The Violin Monster will also be playing at the market.
The Sunday Artisan Market features original, handmade work by artists who are present selling the items themselves and some of whom offer demonstrations of their craft. The Sunday Artisan Market is located at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market and is held from 11a-4p each Sunday from the first weekend in April through the last Sunday before Christmas with the exception of the first Sunday in September which is the Kerrytown Bookfest.
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the Fourth Annual Fairy Festival at The Sunday Artisan Market on Sunday, August 3. More details coming soon!

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
