Annual Dancing in the Streets Event Sunday

Each year the Ann Arbor Community of Traditional Music and Dance (AACTMAD) holds Dancing in the Streets on Sunday of Labor Day Weekend.

The 2014 Dancing in the Streets will be from 1-6:30p on Sunday, August 31 in Downtown Ann Arbor  at the intersection of Main and Washington.

During the event there will be different styles of music with different types of dance traditions. Whether you try your hand (or feet) at dancing or just listen to the music and watch, the event is sure to be fun. There will also be special activities for the kids.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
