Annual Firetruck Muster Returns to Ypsilanti’s Riverside Park

The Annual Michigan Fire Truck Muster is returning to Ypsilanti’s Riverside Park on Saturday, August 23rd from 10a-3p. The event is sponsored by the Michigan Firehouse Museum with support from the City of Ypsilanti.

The Fire Truck Muster is returning after taking a break in 2013 due to a scheduling conflict. The event will feature a gathering of fire trucks from various eras from the 1920s through the late 1970s.

The Michigan Firehouse Museum is a short walk away from Riverside Park, at 110 W. Cross St. We have visited a couple of times and I reviewed it in 2009. Admission to the museum is currently $5/adults, $3 for kids ages 2-16, and free for children under 2.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
