While Royal Oak is a bit of a drive from Ann Arbor, it would be worthwhile if you are already in the Royal Oak area visiting friends or family (or perhaps the Detroit Zoo).

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.

I’m not sold on the new Ninja Turtles movie. Before you tar and feather me, let me tell you a short story.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has to be the most successful parody in American culture. If you’re interested enough to read this, you probably already know that TMNT was originally conceived by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman as a single-issue spoof of popular 1980’s comics like Daredevil
