Fun Activities in September at Wednesday Evening Market

From June through October the Ann Arbor Farmers Market is open on Wednesday Evenings. In addition to traditional food vendors, the Wednesday Evening Market features activities and entertainment. They have plenty of fun scheduled for the month of September.

September at the Wednesday Evening Market starts with the Food Truck Rally on September 3. There will be 8 food trucks and family-friendly activities and entertainment.

The Kids Night Series continues on September 10 with the USA Hockey National Development Program (housed at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube). USA Hockey’s mascot will be there as well as current and former players who will be signing autographs.

September 17 and 24 are part of the preservation series with information on canning to preserve your fruits and vegetables. Both presentations are from 6:30-7:30p. While the presentations may not be of interest to your kids, there is still live music from 4-8p. They will probably also appreciate you learning how to can pizza sauce at the September 17 talk.
The Ann Arbor Farmers Market is located at 315 Detroit Street in the Kerrytown section of Ann Arbor.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
