AAUW Book Sale Starts Today

The American Association of University Women’s Used Book Sale starts today, Friday, September 5  and runs through Sunday, September 7. From 8-10a this morning you will have the best selection, but admission is $15. Free admission will run from 10a-8p. On Saturday, September 6 all books will be half-priced. Sunday, you can fill a grocery bag for $8 or 2 for $15.

The book sale will be held at the Morris Lawrence Building at Washtenaw Community College.

With back to school this week, it is definitely a reading weekend. Yesterday I shared with you Gymboree’s new Eric Carle line of clothing (and they are having an in-store event today from 10a-noon) and thank you to all the readers who shared book recommendations on my Facebook post yesterday. My next post will be about the Kerrytown BookFest. Maybe you can find some of the favorite books recommended yesterday at the sale.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
