What’s your favorite part of Ann Arbor fall? Mine is probably the donuts and cider that are available. Fall in Ann Arbor has so much to offer!

You can head to the apple orchard for cider, caramel apples, and cider. Take a hay ride. Get lost in a corn maze.

Don’t forget to cheer on Michigan Football. And of course there is Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Apple Orchards, Cider Mills, Corn Mazes, & Pumpkin Patches

For me the first sign of fall (other than kids returning to school), is the start of the apple picking season. We are lucky to have so many great orchards and cider mills in the Ann Arbor area. 2023 looks to be a good year for Michigan apples. Fall is also the season for raspberry picking – until the first frost.

A little later in the fall season, don’t forget to pick pumpkins! Or take stroll through a corn maze – just be careful not to get lost.

UM Is not the only game in town. Head next door to Ypsilanti for an Easter Michigan game on their grey turf. It’s a great options for families with less expensive tickets, easier parking, and less crowds.

Friday night is high school football. Check out a game at one of our local high schools. Homecoming parades are also a great way to introduce your child to high school. Typically in addition to the football team, you’ll see the band, other sports team, and school clubs.
