Kerrytown BookFest is Sunday
The 12th Annual Kerytown BookFest returns to the Ann Arbor Farmers Market on Sunday, September 7 from 11a-5p.
The Main Tent will include presentations including the 11a presentation of the Community Book Award to Nicola Rooney of Nicola’s Books and the noon presentation The Art of Illustration including three Caldecott Medalists (picture book winners).
The Kerrytown Tent will have kids activities geared towards kids in preschool through third grade. Mother Goose will be there from noon-1p. There will be a drawing workshop with Ruth McNally Barshaw, creator of Ellie McDoodle rom 1:30-3p. Then AADL Storyteller Laura Pershin Raynor will present “Imagine That!” from 3-4:30p.
In addition to the main tents, there will be exhibitors throughout the area some of which will also interest families.
