Summer Fun for Tuesday, August 25

Today is another cool day – barely forecast to break 70. The cool weather this week may be interfering with plans for squeezing in a few extra trips to the pool or water park. It looks like there will be hot weather forecast for next week (low 80s over the weekend, and mid to upper 80s next week).

There are a couple of great events this afternoon and evening. Unfortunately, we’re going to be waiting on a delivery so we won’t be able to go to the events. (On the plus side, the delivery is a pool table.)

Ann Arbor Kids Summer Fun for Tuesday, August 25

This morning is the last of the Asobo Ann Arbor! Preview Classes at County Farm Park before they start their fall session in September.

My top pick for this afternoon is the Marshmallow Pops craft at the Malletts Creek Branch library from 2-3p (for kids in grades K-5).

There are several fun events this evening led by Sing-A-Long Mary Poppins at Michigan Theater. The event is a repeat from Sunday. I was disappointed that neither show worked with our schedule.

The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra brings a Taste of Music to the Downtown Ypsilanti Farmers Market.
