New stores are opening at Briarwood Mall this spring. New stores include Love Culture, RJ Heavenly Delights, and more.
With a daughter rapidly approaching her teen years, I was excited about Love Culture, a teen store. Then, I looked at their website. I don’t see us shopping there. I definitely wouldn’t consider young teens to be their market.
I am excited that there is a new bakery coming to Briarwood Mall. I can’t wait to try their sweets.
My daughter is sure to be interested in the PlayLive Nation opening later this summer.

TEEN RETAILER LOVE CULTURE TO OPEN AT BRIARWOOD MALL
The Simon mall will also welcome RJ Heavenly Delights, PlayLive Nation, and more.
ANN ARBOR, MI May 8, 2017 —Love Culture, the affordable, trendy clothing and accessories chain, will open a store at Briarwood Mall this summer. The retailer, which offers up-to-the-minute fashion, accessories and gift items for teens and young women, will fill a storefront in the JCPenney wing of the shopping center, adjacent to Victoria’s Secret.
Also new to the center this summer is RJ Heavenly Delights, a local bakery owned by Jackson resident Yvette Wilkie. RJ Heavenly Delights will offer Briarwood shoppers a variety of cakes, cupcakes, and other sweet treats when it opens in Center Court this summer.
Also joining the impressive list of retailers at Briarwood Mall is O Chi Reflexology, which will open this summer adjacent to LUSH near Center Court. Finally, Munchies & More, a convenient store offering snacks, beverages, lottery tickets, and more will join the mall this summer, and Cell Doc, a cellphone repair kiosk, opened this weekend. Both are located across from Olga’s in the JCPenney wing.

Love Culture, RJ Heavenly Delights, and Munchies & More join iconic lifestyle brand and action sports footwear company, Vans. As part of the ten-year agreement, Vans will occupy a new, 3,000 square-foot location inside the mall, which served its first customers last month, also in the JCPenney wing of the mall.
In addition, PlayLive Nation, a state-of-the-art gaming experience is set to open this summer next to Sephora in the Sears wing.
