The Just Between Friends Ann Arbor Mom2Mom Consignment sale for Fall 2017 is the weekend of September 16-17. The Just Between Friends sale will be held at the Washtenaw County Farm Council Grounds.
About Just Between Friends
Just Between Friends started in a Tulsa, OK living room in 1997. Since then, it has grown into a national organization with franchises in 28 states across the country. The first Ann Arbor Just Between Friends sale was in September 2015. They have held sales every fall and spring since then. The Fall 2017 sale is September 16-17, 2017. Local families can participate as consignors, shoppers, or both.
Just Between Friends is a consignment style sale. Consignors price and tag clothing before the sale and drop it off the day before the sale. They do not have to be present at the sale. With items grouped by type rather than by seller (as at a traditional mom2mom sale), a consignment sale is more convenient for shoppers. Clothing is arranged on racks by gender and size. Baby gear, toys, and even books each have their own section.

The Fall 2017 Ann Arbor Just Between Friends Sale
The fall 2017 Ann Arbor Just Between Friends Consignment Sale is on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17 at the Washtenaw Farm Council Fair Grounds. They are currently accepting consignors for this fall. Now is also the time to get your PreSale tickets for the best selection.
Selling at Just Between Friends Ann Arbor
Now is the time to register to be a consignor at the Just Between Friends Ann Arbor sale. Selling at a Just Between Friends sale is easy! You simply gather your items, tag them, and drop them off on Friday. Then, you can shop the pre-sale on Friday afternoon. During the sale, you can monitor your sales through the JBF website. On Sunday, simply pick up any items that you decided not to donate. Then, wait for your check.
At a Just Between Friends sale, you can sell so much more than clothes and baby gear. Don’t forget toys, books, DVDs, outdoor toys, and even kids sports gear. Whenever I have sold at a consignment or a Mom2Mom sale I have had more success with the non-clothing items. So be sure to check for them. Just Between Friends prepared this amazing graphic of where to find different items to sell.
Don’t have time to tag all of your items? Consider selling in the Valet Consignors program. Simply gather your items, clean them and make sure they are in excellent condition, group outfits, and sort them by size/gender, and drop-off for tagging. The tagger will take care of placing items on hangers and adding tags.

Shopping at Just Between Friends Ann Arbor
The Just Between Friends Sale is on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17 at the Washtenaw County Farm Council Grounds in Building A. Strollers and children are welcome at the regular sale. But be prepared that your child may be requesting toys, books, etc.
A Just Between Friends sale makes shopping easy with a department style sale. Clothing is grouped together by gender and size and placed on racks. There are also separate areas for toys, baby equipment, and other items. Items are quality-checked so you can be confident in what you are buying. This type of sale is much easier than shopping a traditional Mom2Mom sale where you have to visit each seller’s table to determine which types of items they have available.
IKEA bags are available to shoppers at a Just Between Friends sale to hold their items while shopping. There is also a hold table available where items can be held for up to an hour. Just Between Friends prefers cash payments. However, credit cards (Master Card, Visa, and Discover) are accepted.
New for Fall 2017
The Just Between Friends Ann Arbor sale keeps evolving. For Fall 2017, they are adding a Dancers Corner just for Dance gear – leotards, shoes, costumes, etc. If your child is a dancer, you will want to check out this section. For Fall 2017, they are no longer accepting Juniors sized clothing for consignment.
Items & Deals at a Just Between Friends Sale
The fall sale will include clothing (baby through size 16) for fall and winter, coats and snow pants, maternity clothing for all seasons, swimsuits, and shoes. They will also accept dress-up clothes, sports gear, and more. Other items include baby furniture (except cribs), toys, outdoor play equipment, baby gear, books, music, DVDs, and more. Check out the complete list of possible items.
You can shop with confidence since items are quality checked when the consignors drop them off.
Items are typically available at 50-90% off of retail prices. Sunday is the day for even better bargains (but less selection). There is no admission charge on Sunday. Additionally, many consignors opt to sell their items at a 50% discount on Sunday.
Just Between Friends Ann Arbor Gives Back
Just Between Friends Ann Arbor gives back to the local community. Foster Parents, Teachers, and Military families are eligible for a free pre-sale pass.
Consignors also have the option to donate their leftover items to charity after the sale. For Fall 2017 the Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop will receive the donations.
