Fall Fun: Explore an Ann Arbor Corn Maze

Have you been to an Ann Arbor Corn Maze? I never explored a corn maze until a few years ago. I never remember hearing about them where I grew up – mostly suburban areas on the east coast. We did our first corn maze with my daughter’s Girl Scout troop four years ago. Now, we make an effort to visit each year.

Ann Arbor Corn Maze Guide

The first corn maze we ever did was the Talladay Farms Corn Maze in 2013. We’ve been almost every year since then alternating between daytime, evening, and dusk adventures. We always have a lot of fun and hope to return to a corn maze again this year.

After dark a flashlight is required in most mazes. Many farms sell flashlights, but we recommend bringing your own.

All of the Ann Arbor Corn Mazes offer fun beyond just the corn maze. Check out all of the farm fun when deciding which corn maze to pick.

Ann Arbor Corn Maze Options

Talladay Corn Maze

Conveniently located next door to Wasem Fruit Farm is Talladay Corn Maze. They offer two traditional corn mazes. They also have a haunted maze which I recommend for tweens and teens, and not for younger kids. You can hear the haunted maze (screeching, chain saws, etc) from parts of the regular maze. If your child is particularly sensitive to these noises, I suggest visiting in daylight or early in the season when the Haunted Maze is not open.
