One event that I would like to highlight is the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History’s Family Halloween Party. It’s a great event and with the museum closing for a year at the end of 2017 for relocation, it may be your last chance to attend the party.

In addition to the specific events listed below, no Halloween season is complete without a trip to the pumpkin patch or corn maze. Stay tuned, we will be releasing Guides to Pumpkin Patches and Fall Farm Fun. We will also have a Halloween Guide which will encompass all of the Halloween fun and some ongoing Halloween events.

The Halloween Happenings list will be updated throughout the season. So, if you know of an event that is missing, please leave it in the comments or submit it to our calendar.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be cancelled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, or we can make mistakes.

Events with images and descriptions below are select high profile events or those where the organizer has paid for increased event exposure.
