Ann Arbor Buddy’s Restaurant

I loved the decor of the new Ann Arbor Buddy’s location. From the exposed brick, to lots of windows, to a mix of booths and tables, the restaurant has a lot to offer. There is a private dining area – the Bocce Ball Room. Outdoor seating will be added in the spring.

I liked that there was a separate takeout area with it’s own entrance (I went through the restaurant in my video above). It is much more convenient than using the main entrance and causing additional clutter in the lobby.

My only concern is that the restaurant is too small. Based on the feedback on my Buddy’s articles and social media, I am expecting quite the demand. During their initial weeks they will not be taking reservations, but they will offer them in the future.

Ann Arbor Buddy’s Operating Hours

Ann Arbor Buddy’s will initially open on a reduced schedule of dinners only. They will also be closed on Mondays during the ramp up. The shorter hours give them a chance to fine tune their operation and training.

Ann Arbor Buddy’s Pizza opened today (Friday, October 13) at 3p. They plan to add lunch beginning next weekend (Saturday, October 21). They plan to open at 11a for lunch on the weekends of October 21-22 and October 28-29. Regular operations are scheduled to start on Monday, October 30. Be sure to check their website for any changes to the operating schedule.

Ann Arbor with Kids is your go-to source for Ann Arbor Family Fun. It got its start in an activity list that I was compiling for the playgroup I ran at our church. When my daughter started preschool, the other moms were thrilled to hear about my list. I decided to take the list public in 2009.
