Event Description

Leslie Science & Nature Center’s annual Halloween celebration Animal Haunts returns to the grounds of LSNC this year. It has been reimagined for 2020 to provide a COVID responsible experience.

Come in costume and join LSNC staff to follow clues to solve the Black Walnut Mystery. This is a candy free, non-scary event. Each child will receive a take-home gift at the end.

Pre-registration is required. They expect the event to sell out. No walk-up slots will be available.

COVID Precautions:

Timed Groups with a max of 10 tickets per time slot (every 15 minutes, last slot at 9:30p)
Masks required for ages 4+
Social Distancing encouraged throughout
Wait in your car until 5 minutes before your time slot. Then proceed to registration table.

Accessibility:

Activities will be in grass and on paths through site, and a trail through the woods
Trail is not safe for wheelchairs or strollers
Lighting will be limited. Flashlights or headlamps are encouraged if you prefer more light for walking on uneven ground
Event happens rain or shine (except thunderstorms). Please dress appropriately
Limited number of handicap accessible parking spots are available
Flush Toilets are available in Walnut House. Unfortunately, there are no gender-neutral restrooms available. Please use the restroom that is most comfortable for you, and contact their staff if you have any questions or concerns.
