Make your plans to attend First Friday Ypsilanti. Each month from April through December, Ypsilanti celebrates with special activities and sales along Michigan Ave and in Depot Town. Bring the family out and enjoy the entertainment, activities, and community.

First Fridays Ypsilanti Celebrates Pride Month
Over 35 venues will be participating in First Fridays Ypsilanti (FFY) June 2, many of which will host LGBTQ+ artists and musicians in support of the First Annual Ypsi Pride. The Ypsi Pride Block Party will be held on N. Washington St. from 5-10pm, featuring live music, a fashion show, resource and artist vendors, and Teddy Rhinestone as MC. Bona Sera Restaurant will provide the official bar for Ypsi Pride from 5-10pm, and Bona Sera Underground and the Tap Room will host the after parties from 10:30pm-2am. Come celebrate Ypsi Pride and explore the lively events happening throughout Depot Town and the Downtown area.
Head to Depot Town for jazz music at the Ypsilanti Food Co-Op, located at 312 N. River St., from 6-9pm. Cultivate Coffee & Taphouse, across the road at 307 N. River St., will feature live American folk music in their beer garden from 8-10pm. Massage Mechanics will provide free information about the art of massage, specifically about massaging the rainbow in honor of Ypsi Pride. Stop by 13 E. Cross St. from 6-9pm for a complimentary chair massage. Enjoy summer cocktails and craft beer at 39 E. Cross St., where Sticks will host a kickoff to summer on their rooftop patio from 6pm-1am.
In addition to celebrating the first Annual Ypsi Pride, GoWork! is celebrating their recent opening from 6-10pm at 9 S. Washington St. Enjoy local art, explore their workspace, and check out the resources available to the Ypsilanti community. Join Go! Ice Cream at 10 N. Washington St. from 6-9pm for hand-crafted ice cream and the Fangs & Twang CD release party. The Thrift Shop of Ypsilanti will display the artwork of Bria Erby, a local figurative artist, from 4-8pm at 15 S. Washington St. Admire her captivating portraits and indulge in a wine and cheese reception as Bira creates art on-site.
While exploring participating First Fridays venues, get your photograph taken in front of the magnificent sets of wings drawn throughout the city. The Community Wing Project by Mosaic Ypsi will be displayed at the following venues: The Corner Health Center at 47 N. Huron, Educate Youth Clubhouse at 104 S. Huron, Go! Ice Cream at 10 N. Washington, and the back of the Ypsi Real building located at 106 W. Michigan Avenue.
